Compliance History

  • 1. DHHS conducts regular visits to child care programs to review compliance with applicable rules.

  • 2. DHHS ensures that all non-compliances are addressed in a timely manner for licensed programs to maintain licensure, and for licensed-exempt programs to remain enrolled in NH Child Care Scholarship.

  • 3. Compliance reviews completed in the previous 3 years are available as follows:
  • • Compliance history for visits completed in a previous system is available under the heading “Visit Documents.” The Visit Document includes any non-compliances cited and the program’s corrective action plans for the citations.
  • • Compliance history for visits completed in the current system show “Level of Compliance” indicating the number of program areas reviewed and the number of program areas in compliance. Selecting View Detail will show the areas of compliance and non-compliance, and the corrective action plans for the non-compliances.

  • 4. In addition to the corrective action plan, programs have the option to submit a response to the department’s findings, in accordance with RSA 170-E:10, II and III. If one has been provided, it will be found under Visit Document. The department’s posting of the response should not be interpreted that it is in agreement with the provider’s response, nor confirmation that its content was verified to be true.
